- Open Directory Project -- Rapidly asserting itself as the top directory on the internet. Run on a volunteer basis and used by Netscape, AOL, AltaVista, HotBot, Google, Lycos, and others.
- Promotion World -- This site has all the free information on promoting your website you will ever need! There are hundreds of tutorials, articles, interviews, resources, and much more.
- BigNoseBird.com -- "Everything you need to build great web sites." Lots of info, tips, scripts, tutorials, etc. to help your web site.
- The JavaScript Source -- an excellent JavaScript resource with tons of "cut and paste" JavaScript examples for your web pages. All for free! We used this site for such things as the "view a random archived match" feature.
